Most of our products that are made of stainless steel use 304 stainless steel. 304 Stainless steel is also known as 18/8 Stainless Steel, A2 Stainless Steel.
A great property of stainless steel is that it does not rust. However, people who live in regions with high calcium content tap water (hard water) may find mottling discolorations built up in their coffee brew-ware.
You can remove this discoloration by filling the kettle with one part vinegar to three parts water and bring the mixture to a boil. Then take it off the heat and let it cool to the touch before discarding the mixture.
