How much coffee do I use in the Ovalware Cold Brew Maker?

Fill the filter about 5/6 full with coarse-ground coffee.

• 1L Maker: 85g (3oz) — about 1 cup or 16 tablespoons
• 1.5L Maker: 110g (4oz) — about 1¼ cups or 21 tablespoons

Steep 12–18 hours in the fridge for smooth, ready-to-drink cold brew.

How long does cold brew take to steep?

12–18 hours in the fridge. Steeping at room temperature takes 8–12 hours and produces a slightly stronger brew. When done, pull out the stainless steel filter — the cold brew is ready to serve with no dilution needed.

What grind size should I use for cold brew?

Coarse grind. A finer grind slows the filter and adds sediment to the brew. Coarse grind extracts cleanly without bitterness. If you notice sediment, go one step coarser — or shake the filter before steeping so fine particles fall out first.

Can I put hot water in the Cold Brew Maker?

Yes. The borosilicate glass handles -30°C to 180°C (-22°F to 356°F), so it's microwave and dishwasher safe. Don't use it on an open flame. It also works as a glass carafe for serving hot coffee.

How do I clean the Cold Brew Maker?

After each use, rinse the filter with warm water — outside first, then inside. Every 2–3 weeks, soak in warm water and white vinegar for 1–2 hours and scrub with a soft brush. Both the glass carafe and stainless steel filter are dishwasher safe.
